Lunch, Socializing, and Mahjong at Cafe Lily Every Friday!
Join us every Friday in Cafe Lily for a fun and welcoming afternoon of Mahjong, food, and community!
Schedule:
- 11:30 AM – Lunch & socializing in the main restaurant
- 12:30 PM – 2:45 PM – Mahjong Open Play in the private dining room
Connect with others in the Decatur community while enjoying a game that blends strategy, skill, and a bit of luck. Mahjong is a great way to relax, socialize, and challenge your mind!
About the Event
- Open to all levels, from beginners to advanced players
- Open Play only (no formal lessons or supervised beginner play during this weekly event)
- Tables will be organized by skill level:
- ~3 tables for intermediate/advanced players
- ~2 tables for beginners
(Adjustments made based on attendance)
New and curious but don’t know how to play yet? You’re welcome to observe and learn more about our Quarterly Lessons Series.
Fees & Participation
- $5 minimum purchase (food or beverage) required
- Please RSVP — only 24 seats available
- If your plans change, kindly cancel your RSVP so someone else can attend

Cafe Lily’s menu offers a tempting variety of appetizers, small plates, and entrees — complemented by wine, beer, cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, and decadent desserts.
Parking
- Street parking is available along Ponce de Leon Place – pay at the parking meter.
- Parking is also available in front of and along the side of Cafe Lily.
What to Bring
- Your own Mahjong tiles and mat(s)
- Your 2026 Official National Mah Jongg League Card
Official Mahjong Cards
If you don’t yet have a 2026 card, you can purchase one from the National Mah Jongg League:
- Large print (recommended): $15
- Standard size: $14
⚠️ Avoid “bootleg” cards from places like Amazon or Walmart—they are not approved and do not support the League.
